Of course, this is a strategy that Samsung is using, aiming to draw more clients to its smart devices. The new program, Samsung's Ultimate Test Derive, was actually specially designed for iPhone users.
"For just one dollar, you can try one of our latest Samsung phones for 30 days with no obligation. Your test drive kit will come with the phone of your choice, an activated sim card, and a step-by-step guide to help you start your test drive," Samsung stated.
After 30 days, if you buy a qualifying Samsung device, there's even more love in store for you," the popular company added. The new program allows iPhone users to try the latest Samsung devices and it seems that iPhone owners were quite interested in discovering these products.
If the tech giant will be able to steal customers from Apple before the release of the new iPhone with this program, Apple might suffer quite a hit.
However, Samsung's efforts to attract more users also comes after Apple managed to take a lot of Samsung's customers with the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. These two phones, the largest screen iPhones ever released, managed to get a lot of Samsung's market.
Until the release of these devices, Samsung was the most successful company on the larger smartphone market. There is no shock after all that Samsung is planning on getting an edge in front of Apple ahead of Apple's upcoming event.
The Ultimate Test Drive program hopes that users who will test Samsung's devices will want to switch their device with a Galaxy smartphone. In the program were included devices such as the Galaxy S6 Edge, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5. Users part of the program will be allowed to test the device for no less than 30 days.
One of the most interesting things about this program is that it only included iPhone owners. This means that users of other devices were not allowed the possibility to test Samsung's most performant phones. The company has not revealed how many devices were made available for the tests, but what is certain is that all the devices were taken for tests.
This shows that iPhone users are really interested in discovering what Samsung's devices can offer. Samsung revealed that it planned on adding more devices to the program, having under consideration the great interest.
What the famous company has not revealed is how much the program will last. It is expected for the company to end the program before Apple's event, which is said to be taking place on September 9.
