However, for formal events, users should opt for a more traditional band, to go with the outfit. Well, it is this kind of thinking that Motorola is trying to change, and it started with the redesigned Moto 360, which was changed in Moto 360 Fashion.
To be mentioned that the original Moto 360 smartwatch was released in September 2014 and it was the first handset that featured a circular display and a stainless steel body.
Moreover, the original Moto 360 was one of the most appreciated smartwatches on the market, and the most successful Android Wear watch to date.
To be added that this new watch will be available in two different sizes. The first one will be a 46mm watch featuring a 2mm band, meaning that it will be slightly larger than the previous 45mm standard model. The second model will be smaller and it will have 42mm and a 20mm band.
However, an interesting fact is that Motorola is also attempting to release a special women’s collection that will feature a 42mm face and a slim 16mm strap.
Moreover, the prices for all these new models will start at 300 dollars, which is approximately 50 dollars over the original model and it will go up to 430 dollars, depending on the model and band that customers will choose.
As for its design, the new Moto 360 Fashion looks almost the same as the original model, featuring a circular display with the same odd black bar positioned at the bottom. However, the most significant change is the addition of the traditional watch lugs.
This means that users can easily swap out the strap for a new one. To be added that these lugs can also make the watch more flexible, meaning that it is a lot more comfortable to wear.
The crown has been moved to the top right, around two o’clock, but unfortunately, users cannot use it to scroll through aps. This is just a simple button that can be used for owners to access the app menu or to light up the display.
However, the most significant changes that have been made, compared with the previous model, are the ones that users cannot see. This means that the processor has been upgraded and it will improve many of the performance issues that have been founded on the original model.
The new Moto 360 comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400, 4G of Internal storage and 512MB or RAM.
Probably, it would have been more satisfying if Motorola had opted for the recent Snapdragon 410, but it seems that many Android Wear watches are using the same processor, including the new Huawei Watch.
